JK Adams Kitchen Store – in charming Dorset Village, JK Adams is a really fun browse for the cook, the foodie, or host. Also, home to Dorset’s winter farmers market.
Plymouth Notch Historic District – a bucolic and well-preserved village, including the homestead of Calvin Coolidge, America’s 30th president. Self-guided tours, exhibits, and walking trails.
Saint Gaudens – 45 minutes away in Cornish NH, the home, studio, and gorgeous grounds of American sculptor Augustus Saint Gaudens.
Hildene, the Lincoln Family Home – a grand 19th century estate built by Abraham Lincoln’s son, Robert Todd. Highlights include the vintage home, restored Pullman Car, and diverse agricultural program. Don’t miss the goats and farmstead cheeses.
Weston Theater Company – world class productions at the historic playhouse and at Walker Farm, right in the heart of Weston village
